Public Board Meeting Highlights 鈥� Sept. 16, 2025
The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m.
The Chair shared information on upcoming Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA) regional meetings and professional development opportunities for trustees. The Chair also acknowledged the challenges students face due to the changes to City of Winnipeg Transit schedules.
The board received information on the City of Winnipeg Transit Reconfiguration Survey results; International Student Travel; the Annual Report to the Community for 2024-25; Student Accident report; International Student Program; Summer Learning; and the Air Quality Index.
The board updated administrative protocols supporting Policy AC – Respect for Human Diversity. The board passed amendments to Policy JLF – Reporting Concerns about Child Abuse and Policy ACF-ACG Appendix A – Interpersonal Relationships and Resolutions of Concerns about Harassment/Discrimination.
Correspondence was recorded as received.
The board passed motions to send resolutions to the MSBA Region 5/6 meeting.
The Chair adjourned the meeting at 8:08 p.m.
