Bonjour École Henri-Bergeron Community,
We want to thank all guardians and parents for your cooperation and communication in ensuring our students are safe, supported in their learning and thriving as individuals and members of our school community. Thankyou also to our staff for the care and dedication they demonstrate every day for all our students. Finally, we want to command our students in all the efforts and engagement they demonstrate in their learning and in coming together as a community.

Orange Shirt Day on Monday, September 29th
In preparation for Truth and reconciliation day, we are encouraging students and staff to wear orange shirts on Monday.
In the morning, there will be an optional smudge/Cleanse Ceremony. Students who have handed permission form in any 91探花app school can participate. Forms were offered to students who wish to participate but for whom we have not received a permission form yet. Here is the document that can be printed and sent to school as well:
During the day, students in each classroom will be spending time learning and reflecting on this important day and leaving messages on orange ribbons, outside, on the school fence.

No school on Tuesday, September 30th
On Tuesday, it is National Truth and Reconciliation Day, therefore, schools will be closed
No School on Wednesday, October 1st
On Wednesday, it is a divisional Professional Development Day, there are no classes.
Summary of first PAC Meeting
On Tuesday, September 23rd, we had our PAC AGM and First Regular Meeting. It was a pleasure to see all the parents that came. We had important conversations about how to make sure there is a strong connection within our school community. To help make our communication more accessible, we will be using our Instagram account (henribergeronlrsd) more often and sharing this weekly email on our website and parent portal as well. Childcare was provided and it will be provided for every meeting.
