LRATC's Annual Cure-A-Thon
Join Us for a Day of Hope and Healing!
We are thrilled to announce our annual Cure-a-Thon fundraiser in support of CancerCare Manitoba on Thursday, May 1st. This event is a cornerstone of our school community's efforts to combat cancer and provide vital resources for those affected by this disease.
Event Highlights:
- Salon Services (Hair and Esthetics)
- Bake Sale, Kernal Corner & Pizza Lunch
- Silent Auction
- Car Wash
- Fun Activities & Games in the Gym
This year, we've added an exciting incentive to encourage even greater participation! Our Principal – Mr. Darren Baker - has bravely volunteered to take on a special challenge:
- If we reach a total donation of $500, he will shave his head!
- If we reach an additional $500 (for a total of $1000), he will also shave his beard!
Cancer affects us all, either directly or indirectly. By joining the Cure-a-Thon, you are making a tangible difference in the lives of those battling cancer. Every dollar raised goes directly to CancerCare Manitoba, funding research, treatment, and support services for patients and their families.
