LRATC Students Showcase Expertise at Skills Manitoba Competition
Talented students from the Louis Riel Arts and Technology Centre (LRATC) put their skills to the test at the Skills Manitoba Competition on April 10th.
The LRATC students were among the many participants from across the province, to compete in over 40 hands-on contests, showcasing their expertise and passion in an Olympic-style event. The competition highlighted a wide range of vocational and technical abilities, with students demonstrating their hard work and dedication.
Winners of the Skills Manitoba competition will have the opportunity to represent Team Manitoba at the Skills Canada National Competition in Regina in May.

Taylor Brewster – Gold Medal - Representing Manitoba as Skills Canada
Mya Gower - Silver Medal - Nail Tech/Post Secondary
Musskan Sidhu – Bronze Medal - Nail Tech/Post Secondary
Hairstyling:
Alex Gendron- Gold Medal – High School Beginner Level
Sara Stripling - Silver Medal - Post Secondary
Madison Kalyniuk - Bronze Medal - Post Secondary
